Product Update: November 14, 2022

Product Update

1. You can now log in to the Little Help management page with two-factor authentication.
2. Webhook requests from outside the LINE platform can now be blocked.
3. “Text” actions are now available for card-based messages.

Why does it matter?
1. There was a risk of being logged into the Little Help management page if a password was compromised.
2. There was a danger of accepting malicious webhook requests from third parties.
3. A bot response can be triggered by tapping a button on a card-type message.

How does it work?

1. Enable “Use two-factor authentication” on the Profile Settings; a QR code will be displayed, and please add it to the Google Authenticator app.

– Download the iOS version
– Download the Android version

You must enter the authentication code when logging in: enter the 6-digit code displayed in the Google Authenticator app.

2. Enable “Validate webhook signature” under “Messaging API” in the Account settings. The channel secret entry field will appear, so please copy the channel secret value found in the “Settings” “Messaging API” section of the LINE Official Account administration page.

After that, the HMAC-SHA256 algorithm is used to verify the signatures of Webhook requests received from the LINE platform and block any unauthorized requests.

3. Select “Text” in the card-based message action. You can set the message sent by the user when tapped.
